Facebook Live Q&A: Setting the Standard for International Secondary Student Recruitment

The Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) advisory board recently completed its year-long effort to establish model standards for international student recruitment agencies working with US secondary schools.

Chris Page, executive director of CSIET, will join NACAC for a Facebook Live broadcast on Wednesday, Oct. 16 to discuss the new standards in greater detail.

Tune in at noon ET to gain a better understanding of the challenges facing high schools with regard to international F-1 student recruitment and to learn how the model standards are organized and what specific areas they attempt to address.

Through the adoption of CSIET’s model standards, all stakeholders—students, schools, and agencies—will be more comfortable, better informed, and in agreement on expectations throughout the recruitment process.

In line with NACAC’s work on the topic of commission-based agent recruitment, NACAC served on the CSIET advisory board during the creation of these model standards and will now offer the chance for NACAC members to learn more.

You can watch the full conversation live on NACAC’s Facebook page.
