College Signing Day: Watch our Facebook Live Q&A

Decision Day is fast approaching.

May 1 is the deadline for students to accept an offer of admission at many institutions. And for the fifth year, Reach Higher—in coordination with Better Make Room—is encouraging schools and communities to host College Signing Day events in recognition of their students’ hard work.

Last year, more than 1,500 schools and communities across the country organized Signing Day events for their students.

Looking for ways to get involved this year?

NACAC host Crystal Newby talked with Reach Higher’s Eric Waldo this afternoon about the Signing Day initiative during a Facebook Live Q&A. Janel Young, with DC’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education, and Clarence Cross, a college and career counselor with DC’s Cesar Chavez Public Schools, also joined the conversation.

Listen to their tips, learn about grant funds available to support your school, and download the official College Signing Day toolkit.
