Seniors are busy weighing their college choices, and for many students, that means decoding often-confusing financial aid award letters.
Get up to speed and gain the knowledge you need to confidently field college cost questions with Financial Aid 101 — NACAC’s new e-learning course.
The online class includes eight easy-to-use learning modules packed with information on subjects like loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study. Informative graphics and videos break down key concepts. Quizzes help you measure your progress and provide the foundation you need to evaluate financial fit.
Although decisions about whether and how much to borrow are ultimately made by students and their families, high school counselors are a critical source of information about loans and other forms of financial aid. By helping students sort through their options, you play an important role in increasing college access.
The course costs $100 for members, $125 for nonmembers. Continuing education credits are available.
