Still have questions about prior-prior year (PPY) and the 2017-18 FAFSA?
Videos of two educational sessions presented at NACAC’s recent national conference can provide answers as you work to help students and families apply for federal financial aid.
Sessions now available are:
The FAFSA: What You Need to Know for 2017-18 — Cindy Forbes Cameron, with the US Department of Education’s office of Federal Student Aid, outlines changes to the 2017-18 FAFSA and implications for students and parents. The IRS data retrieval tool, state and school FAFSA deadlines, and how verification is affected by the shift to prior-prior year (PPY) income information are also addressed.
Prior–Prior Year and You — Admission professionals discuss results from a recent PPY survey, share insights from their institutions, and engage the audience in an open discussion of PPY best practices.
Watch the sessions, check out NACAC’s discussion platform regarding FAFSA changes, and help raise awareness of Early FAFSA with this video aimed at students and parents.
