  1. I co-host a podcast called “All Things College and Career.” We created the podcast to help students/parents (& all people) with their college & career research. Before spending lots of time/money investing in a career/college, our motto is “Learn Before You Leap” each week with us!

I will include our podcast website below (you can search on our website by college, career, academic major , etc). However, you can also find our podcast on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play, TuneIn, YouTube and iHeartRadio.

In our podcast, we interview college & career experts. We also interview professionals currently working in a variety of fields so that they can share with our listeners, just how they got started in their career, what sort of education/college major/training would best prepare you to work in that field, what are the advantages/drawbacks of the profession and what is a typical day like on the job?

Some of our podcast highlights regarding college topics are:

    1. Robin Mamlet, former Dean of Admissions & Financial Aid at Stanford University and co-author of the book “College Admission: From Application to Acceptance, Step by Step” – you can find her interview in Episdode #3.

    2. Charlie Maynard, CEO of a company called Going Merry – they have revolutionized the way to apply for college scholarships (Going Merry has done for the college scholarship application process what the Common Application did for college admissions applications), Charlie is Episode #17.

    3. Moira McCullough, CEO of “College Scoops” (Episode #15). Moira started this company to enhance students/parents visits to college campuses.

    4. Michael Morin, Episode #12, the Head Wrestling Coach at USM (and he himself is a three-time All-American Wrestler). This is a great episode for those interested in wrestling in college.

    5. Soon to be released (August 11th) we have Moira McKinnon coming up, Director of College Counseling at Berwick Academy in South Berwick, ME.

  2. What if we’re not NACAC members (yet) but feature NACAC members? My co-host Amy Seeley and I host Tests and the Rest (http://testsandtherest.com), the College Admissions Podcast. Tests and the Rest is intended for school counselors, educators, test prep professionals, college consultants, and just about anyone engaged in the college admissions process. Twice a week, we publish shows on the latest issues in testing, admissions, learning, and education with leading experts like school counselors, college admissions staff, authors, and educators. Plus, the podcast is hosted on the TestBright website, a free source of expert, unbiased information about testing for parents and school counselors.

We’d love to hear how you like our show!
