Awards and Honors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Brenda S. Gerhardt<\/strong>, a clinical faculty member at the University of Dayton (OH), received the Susan Sears Distinguished Alumni Award. This annual award recognizes a graduate of Ohio State University\u2019s counselor education program who has made contributions to the field of counseling and\/or counseling education.<\/p>\n

Members on the Move<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jessica De La Rosa<\/strong> has been promoted to director of admissions at the University of the Incarnate Word (TX). She previously served as associate director of admissions at the university.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Kristen Harris<\/strong> has been promoted to senior director of college and career success with the College and Career Planning Team at the New York City Department of Education. She previously served as the team\u2019s director of college readiness supports.<\/p>\n

Hillary Higgins<\/strong> is now associate director of college counseling at The Nueva School (CA). She was previously senior assistant director of admission at the University of Southern California.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Terry Knaus<\/strong> is now executive director of the Higher Education Consultants Association. He previously served as a college counselor at Cathedral High School (IN).<\/p>\n

Marcel Hite<\/strong> is now senior assistant director of admission at Stanford University (CA). He previously served as assistant dean of admission at Occidental College (CA).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Ariana Martell<\/strong> has been promoted to senior coordinator of scholar recruitment at the University of Arizona. She previously served as an admissions counselor at the University of Arizona.<\/p>\n

Hot Off the Presses<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Brennan Barnard<\/strong> and Rick Clark<\/strong> recently released The Truth about College Admission: A Family Guide to Getting In and Staying Together<\/a>.<\/em> Barnard is director of college counseling & outreach at The Derryfield School (NH). Clark is director of undergraduate admission at the Georgia Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Joann Elliott<\/strong>\u00a0recently released The Honeycomb Approach: 6 Factors to Find Your College Fit<\/a><\/em>. Elliot is a counselor and consultant with College Counseling Tutoring (MO).<\/p>\n

The survey should be used to report accomplishments from the second quarter of 2020 (April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020).
