The conversation\u2014which will also provide opportunities for admission professionals to share their insights about the experiences of disadvantaged students\u2014will kick off on Twitter at 9 p.m. ET on Sept. 17.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a conversation you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n<p>Jack\u2019s book \u2014 based on interviews with dozens of students \u2014 takes a hard look at the challenges many low-income students face navigating college academics and campus life.<\/p>\n<p>As he notes in <em>The Privileged Poor<\/em>, college access doesn\u2019t automatically mean acceptance.
