Boyertown Area School District. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The court case centers on a Pennsylvania school district\u2019s policy permitting students to use the restroom of their choice. By declining to hear the case, the Supreme Court let stand a lower court\u2019s ruling that sided with the district\u2019s decision to allow students to use the bathroom matching their gender identity.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransgender students face many challenges as they pursue their education; where to use the restroom should not be one of them,\u201d NACAC CEO Joyce Smith said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nacacnet.org\/news--publications\/newsroom\/press-releases\/transgender2\/\">press release<\/a>. \u201cNACAC is committed to fairness and equity in all aspects of education.
