It also signals the beginning of a new year for the association\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend, the following occurred:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stefanie Niles<\/strong>, vice president for enrollment and communications at Ohio Wesleyan University, assumed the NACAC presidency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jayne Caflin Fonash<\/strong>, director of school counseling at The Academies of Loudon (VA), was voted president-elect.<\/li>\n<li>Four individuals joined the Board of Directors. <strong>Sara Brookshire<\/strong>, director of admissions, Brandeis University (MA) and <strong>Stephen Pultz<\/strong>, assistant vice president for enrollment, University of San Diego (CA), were elected to three-year terms. <strong>Ken Redd<\/strong>, senior director of research and policy at the National Association of College and University Business Officers (DC), was appointed to serve a one-year term on the board. <strong>Mark Steinlage, Jr.,<\/strong> associate dean of admission at Saint Louis University (MO),\u00a0 joined the board for one year as a board director and coordinator of the NACAC Affiliate Presidents Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Admitted writer\/editor Mary Stegmeir welcomes additional comments and story ideas at\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"mailto:mstegmeir@nacacnet.org\"><em style=\"font-weight: inherit;\">mstegmeir@nacacnet.org.\u00a0<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NACAC\u2019s national conference offers members a chance to learn and grow.
