At Barnard, for example, admission officials have noticed that a greater portion of essays submitted by students have touched on issues of sexism or privilege. A significant number of applicants have also mentioned their involvement with political campaigns or protest movements, such as the 2017 Women\u2019s March, Barnard\u2019s Vice President of Enrollment Jennifer Fondiller<a href=\"https:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/admissions\/article\/2018\/08\/13\/womens-colleges-see-boost-yield-wake-2016-election\"> told <em>Inside Higher Ed<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are great institutions.
