College Decision Day \u2014 the deadline at many institutions for students to accept an offer of admission and make a tuition deposit \u2013 is coming up on May 1 and we want to celebrate with you!<\/p>\n

For the fifth year, the Reach Higher and Better Make Room initiatives are encouraging schools and communities to host College Signing Day events in recognition of students\u2019 hard work and achievements.<\/p>\n

Tune in Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. ET to find out more about the College Signing Day<\/a> tradition, how you can secure grant money<\/a> for your school\u2019s celebration, and more.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be broadcasting from NACAC headquarters via Facebook Live with special guests Eric Waldo of\u00a0Reach Higher<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Civic Nation<\/a>, Janel Young, who manages college access programs such as OSSE Scholars<\/a>, College Conversations<\/a> and DC College Signing Day<\/a> for DC\u2019s Office of the State Superintendent of Education, and Clarence Cross, a college and career counselor with DC\u2019s Cesar Chavez Public Schools.<\/p>\n
